About us
The Vanrhynsdorp Community Forum (VGF) is a non-profit company established to serve as a representative and collaborative platform for businesses and residents of Vanrhynsdorp and surrounding areas.
We exist to strengthen communication between the community and local authorities, promote economic development, and implement practical projects that improve the town’s infrastructure and wellbeing.
Our Vision
To establish an effective and active forum that serves as a representative voice for businesses and the broader community, contributing to sustainable economic development and fostering transparent, constructive communication between the municipality and the people of Vanrhynsdorp.
Our Mission
To actively improve Vanrhynsdorp through collaboration, accountability, community-driven projects, and responsible leadership.
Our History
The Vanrhynsdorp Community Forum was founded in 2023 by:
– Roche Killian
– Kellie de Villiers
– Gunther Würth
– Deon Zandberg
– Mias Louw
– Richard van Huyssteen
– Virgil Davids
The first Annual General Meeting was held on 3 April 2024, where the following members availed themselves to serve on the VGF Committee:
– Richard van Huyssteen (Chairperson)
– Roche Killian (Vice-Chairperson)
– Hester du Bruyn (Treasurer)
– Kellie de Villiers
– Gunther Würth
– Deon Zandberg
During this meeting, the Memorandum of Incorporation was formally approved.
In 2025, the Vanrhynsdorp Community Forum NPC (Registration No. 2024/521015/08) was officially registered with the following Directors:
– Richard van Huyssteen (Chairperson)
– Kellie de Villiers (Vice-Chairperson)
– Hester du Bruyn (Treasurer)
